What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer by websites and services that you visit or access. They are widely used to make websites and services work and function with greater efficiency, and to provide information about our users' experience during use of, or interaction with our website, products, services and advertisements. Some cookies last only for the duration of your web session and expire when you exit your browser. Others may last for longer than your web session including after you exit your browser, for example remembering you when you return to our website.
Preferences and Settings
Sign-in and Authentication
These are used to record the choices and settings that you have configured or updated to enable our website(s) and Services to operate correctly.
When you sign into a website or Service, we store a unique ID number, and the time you signed in, within an encrypted cookie on your device. This allows you to move from page to page within the website without having to sign in again on every page. Although not recommended, you can save your sign-in information so that you don't have to input your credentials every time you return to the site.
Facebook & YouTube Cookies
Some of our websites and Services include code snippets provided by social media companies that can sense if you are already logged into a given social media account so that you don't have to log in again. These code snippets read cookies set by social media company web content while you are logged in and browsing such content on those social media sites.
We may use performance cookies for load balancing to ensure that websites and Services remain up and running.
How to control cookies
Most web browsers automatically accept cookies but provide controls that allow you to block or delete them. However, if you block cookies for Sage Amigos, you may not be able to sign-in or to use certain features which depend upon Cookies.
